    Wrong! Hold equates rest, you don’t want to “hold” the weights while it’s down (as he suggest inadequately). Keep elbows slightly bend, never just let your arms hang there. slightly bend elbows will allowing constant tension to the muscle tissue. However don’t bend it too much, considering you still want full range of motion. The purpose of each rep is to make sure you fully contract the muscle. Additionally focus on the negatives, which is the releasing motion as you bring the weight down.

    hey bro, i m 16 started working out last year and as u i was worried about all this crap goinig around that you shouldnt work out at young age
    my advise is do it, just be especially carefull with proper form and not to put too much weight( so u dont hurt yourself)
